Getting Started

Welcome to Tiny Experiments! Here's how to begin your experimental journey:

  1. Create your first experiment — Tap the + button and give your experiment a title and optional description.
  2. Set your duration — The default is 10 days, but you can adjust this to fit your experiment.
  3. Check in daily — Simply tap the experiment card to mark your daily check-in.
  4. Reflect and learn — After completing your experiment, take time to journal what you discovered.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a new experiment?

Tap the + button on the main screen. Enter a title for your experiment (e.g., "Morning meditation") and optionally add a subtitle with more details. Choose your duration and tap Create.

Can I edit an experiment after creating it?

Yes! Tap on any experiment to view its details, then use the edit option to modify the title, subtitle, duration, or color.

What happens when I complete an experiment?

When you reach the final day and check in, the experiment is marked as complete. You can view your completed experiments in the history section and reflect on what you learned.

Can I run multiple experiments at once?

Absolutely! Running multiple experiments is a great way to explore different areas of your life simultaneously. Just be mindful not to overcommit—the philosophy of tiny experiments is to keep things manageable.

Is my data synced across devices?

Yes, if you're signed in with the same iCloud account, your experiments sync automatically across all your Apple devices.

Can I delete an experiment?

Yes. Swipe left on any experiment in the list to reveal the delete option. Deleted experiments cannot be recovered.

Troubleshooting

My experiments aren't syncing

  • Ensure you're signed into iCloud on all devices
  • Check that iCloud Drive is enabled for Tiny Experiments
  • Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud and verify Tiny Experiments is enabled
  • Try pulling down on the main screen to manually refresh the sync

The app crashes or freezes

  • Force quit the app and reopen it
  • Ensure you're running the latest version of iOS
  • Check the App Store for updates to Tiny Experiments If problems persist, please contact us
